Thanks a lot Jaya Maam for sharing and giving a wonderful feel of the festival.. I'm excited to see the collections. I appreciate your effect for capturing the kolams at the early stage to the finishing touch. I can see women from all age group, even a male contestant drawing kolams with enthusiasm.I love this festival for its white color
Once again thanks Jaya Maam.

Thanks for giving us a treat of a variety of beautiful kolams put during the festival. You have written Day - 1. For how many days does this festival run? It must be real visual treat.
Once again thanks a lot.

Uma, click the url posted by Jaya ma'm. Look for the last but second row, and click on the 2nd thumbnail from the right. The hexagon chikku kolam is the one done by Judy. I think #71.

aiyoooo yooo yoooo sorry folks. Lata I think you misunderstood my comment in Rani's kolam - I said participant No.71 put the same kolam not me. I just happened to remember as I had just viewed the photos before seeing her kolam and so I mentioned it in Rani's kolam that's all. Sorry everyone - I never took part this time (though I was quite tempted to do so) - but surely next time I will. This time was photography time for me - glad I was able to capture most of the event. Sad I could not go yesterday as I am sure more people would have taken part. Saturday I think atleast 150 people took part...

Thank you Jaya/ Judy for the treat.Enjoyed Margzhi kola Mahotsavam in Mylapore sitting in Bangalore. We would have been happy if u 2 had taken a photo in front of this kolam parade. Even Without colorpodi( my be the organisers wanted only white kolapodi to be used for this contest) the kolams were looking bright.

You are most welcome Anirudh, for the next years festival! Usually it takes place after Pongal but this year they had advanced the dates. Keep watching their site for the dates and plan well in advance! I wish to see many more members to visit/take part in the event and have fun!
