Marapaachi dolls

This is decorated Marapaachi dolls.These dolls are more than 100 yrs old and it was given to me by my mother with a word of caution that it was given to her by her great grand mother.i am handling this dolls very carefully and i want to pass this on to my next generation.It is a priceless gift form my mother.

Lakshmi, a priceless possession indeed! It is very different from the ones we get these days. Face and hands are well shaped. You got it decorated from your mother or you did that? Splendid work!
