Let us offer prayers (and donations)
Let us offer prayers (and donations) to the Japanese in this hour of need.
Not feeling well for the last few days and the news too is not great. My heart is heavy with sadness for the plight of the Japanese hit by earthquake and tsunami. Many will be reliving the scenes of the Indonesian earthquake and the resultant tsunami a few years ago. I shudder to think about the loss of life if what had happened in Japan were to happen in an under-developed or developing country with a poor infrastructure. What impressed me most was the resoluteness the Japanese are showing in the face of adversity and calamity. Panic seems to be absent whereas discipline is evident everywhere. This is one lesson for us all. Let us all remember the Japanese in our prayers. May God give them comfort and solace in this hour of grief. Even if Japan is not a poor country, in this perilous time, they need our moral and monetary support. Let us all help in the best way we can.

Yes I too feel the same heaviness in my heart and sadness at the plight of the Japanese people. My heart goes out to them. I hope and pray God helps the needy. I dont feel like watching the TV also because of the sad scenes that i get to see.

Yes, we will and have to pray for them. regarding helping I appreciate our company for that .They have developed a policy wherein whenever any calamity like this occurs anywhere to help ,the fund is directly collected from our salary depending on the post and they do the needful along with other things like grains ,medicines house hold things etc though we have not involved directly .In case required then the higher authorities ask my opinion otherwise they do themselves .
