It was great pleasure to meet Ajji(Granny), Lakshamma Lakshmana Rao. She was full energetic and happy to know about the event. Her interests to teach and learn, even at this age is amazing. She sang couple of dervanamas with full ease with perfection, she did not even need any mic too. It was nice talking with her to know about her spiritual views towards the kolams and art. She deserves a big round of applause and many many thanks from us.

Wow Ajji hats off to you... how I wish I had a grandmother who could teach me some songs... Her family members are one lucky people. It is normally thought that the younger generation dont seem to be interested in our culture or learning traditional songs, but I feel nowadays everyone seems to be inclining towards the very same thing. More and more youth seem to be interested in learning and promoting our culture.
