Gundu mani seeds?

I used to look for gundu mani seeds in my grandpa's backyard, during my visits in my childhood days. Does anyone know the English name for it? They say it was used as Ganeshji's eyes in clay statues during Ganesh Chaturthi. The seeds grow similar to the peas (in a pod), and are reddish in color with a black prominent dot to one side (are shiny and smooth). I've drawn an image of how it used to look. I am not sure if gundu mani is the proper tamizh name for it...

Abrus it was (I was trying so hard to remember it)! Thank you so much, Abrus is a name I uttered a long time ago! Since you've mentioned it too, I am now sure that Kundumani is the correct tamizh name for it.
