Hi friends, a picture of the Ganesh idol in our pooja room.The frame at the background called the "Pravabai" and the stand on which the idol is seated is being passed on to us 2 generations back.

I haven't seen idols decorated with Ixora flowers before, adds a nice touch! :)
The frame is a wooden stand with golden paint finished on it, the ixora is from our garden

lataji, Ixora are most common flower in Kerala, even in bangalore all my keralite friends have one. they say its the beloved flower of GuruvAyurappan.
