Are Bandhini sarees still in fashion, or are they considered old style?

Nothing is old style Lata - Bandhini sarees are very much still around... I like the elegant look it gives you when worn, be it saree or salwar for that matter - the colour combinations are lovely.. When we went to Jaipur in 2005 we bought Anita a chiffon bandhini saree from there - top half greyish colour and and bottom half maroon.. I will try and upload a pic of this soon...

Any hand made prints has its own beauty and will always be in fashion.You get bandhini printed Kurtas quite a popular wear among the teenagers.

I love bandhini sarees. I love that print so much that i even buy nighties in that prints. When i visited India last dec i saw a crushed material bandhini saree and they said its 13,000 Rs. That's unbeleivable. Still we have all simple bandhini sarees in the market. When u go to North India u will get bandhini sarees for all rates i guess. right? then i wud love to go and buy that.
