This is Anusaya set. Since I coudldn't bring any new dolls from India this year we made the dolls with sclupture clay and painted it. It is a family project.

Well made dolls, nice to see the leaves. My mind goes back to the banana leaf rangOlis of the past. Does anyone remember them still? I have a question, though. If I remember the story correctly, anasUya feeds the three gods in the form of children. The story goes that they asked for an unmentionable wish and that is the only way she could fulfill it. Later dattAtrEya assumed the forms of all the three gods and became trimUrtirUpa.

Yes. mOhanaji. In Datta charitra, the story of Anasuya and Atri mahamuni will come. Dattatreya is their son.

Thank you all. Yes Mohanaji we did the same story. Next to these dolls we had another Anusaya and a 3 cradle with babaies. Thelast arrangement was all three couples (Vishnu - Lakshmi, Shiva - Parvathi, Brahma and SAraswathi ) blessing Anusaya and Atri rishi.
