When we introduced COLOURS to the kids, we did this activity on it. Cut the sponge in to triangle pieces, kids dipped it in the paint and printed on a white paper acc. to their wish. We stuck the paper on purple colour chart. It was very colourful at the display. Only 4 basic colours are used.

Jayanth,i why don't you try giving them rangoli powders also?
