I am uploading 4 kolams for beginners. They are kutti kolams of 5 dots - 5 lines.
The background of this upload is - I had seen some of our members like Judy Ma'am upload more than one kolam in one go, which looked novice to me and also good for beginners. (Some other member also had recently uploaded four free hand kolams. I do not remember the name of the member. Sorry.) From that time, I have been wanting to upload such kutti kolams. Unfortunately, I was not able to get time to download the software meant for that purpose. Though I had the kolams in my PC meant to be uploaded for this purpose, due to lack of software the uploading got delayed.
I must thank ikolam for enabling me to learn the use of this software.
This my contribution to the 9x9 matrix kolam collection! To draw this design, I initially made the 4x4 design in the corners and then connected them together as shown in the image. This is the first time I have tried to make my own chikku design...

hai this is a well known chikku kolam. middle 5-5 dots n 4sides 9-1 straight dots. ur views pls.
This kolam was made by me for one of the Marghazhi days. As I had used turmeric and kumkum for the yellow and red colours respectively, they did not flow and spread properly - hence a lot of spillage - Also this is the first time I am making kolams with colours. Hope to do more neatly in future.

This was put by my daughter. She put basic kolam using dots and then added some freehand designs. She is studying in 9th std.
