Thanks to Jaya Ma'am for the information that 20th March is World Sparrow Day. I put a very small sparrow kolam. The dot count is 3,4,5 (increasing on the left side) and 4 dots by decreasing one on the right side.
This is a 9x1 chikku kolam. Hope the floor likes to linger on to the holi celebrations holding back the colours with it

This sikku kolam 11 to 1 straight dots. This is for friends who want smaller kolams. again taken from my MIL's earlier books.
Using the dots in a trapezium, this was drawn. It has eight lines and five colours. The curvature in the lines adds an extra dimension to the overall appearance. This is a bit too big and intricate to create the weaving pattern. That is why I did not intend to ruin my eyes. Enjoy!
