Dear All, This is a freehand rangoli drawn on this Deepavali. It took 1 hour to complete it. Thanks. Usha
While browsing through the various kolams in the website, even though I did not participate
during the last one year after Margazhi dew drops festival, I got an inspiration to attach
this Mana Kolam which is in my collection file. I used to draw this kolam during Navarathri
or Deepavali at our entrance outside our home. But at present my hubby did not bring the
Camera with him while coming out to this home, I have to draw this with the sketch pen of
various colours and show this piece for the lovers of I-Kolam website. Please offer your
remarks and views on this so that I can try to improve my capacity to draw more difficult
kolams.

Entry for ensuing contest - Navarathri, Deepavali - during the period October/November, 2013
Recently we visited a Ganesha Temple near our area and found that a Kolam was painted
in front of the temple and after grasping the same, I got an idea and drawn this type
of kolam in my collections and now I want to share this with our friends of I-kolam
family. I would like to share the views of my friends who view this in this website.I
have drawn this kolam with sketch pens in A-4 paper and it took about 3 hours to complete
this kolam and this has been kept as a treaure in my collections.
This is a Dotted kolam with the Dot count 15-1 (straight)
