In the center is the replica of the Srirangam temple with the Ranganathar shrine with Andal(one of the famous azhwars) on one side and the special consort Thulakanachiyar (Muslim Princess) on the other side, both are known for their love for Lord Ranganthar. We have the azhwars on one side and the Garuda Sevai in procession around the streets on the other side.
All the gopurams, the kulam (tank inside the temple), a smaller model of the 1000 pillar hall, the Garba Griham for the Ranganathar shrine are all hand built and hand painted.
On one side of Srirangam is the Raghavendrar Mutt and further up is the Rockfort Ganesha temple in Trichy separated by the Cauvery River.
The highway on the right depicted by hand made roads leads to the Chennai suburbs where the Mahabalipuram Shore temple is depicted and to the right of which is Ashthalakshmi temple where all the Lakshmis are at varying levels on rocks with the ocean serving as backdrop for both temples.
