Some of our members had asked about the date earlier, so thought of letting you all know. Smile

நெளி நெளி யாக இழை இழுத்து,
புது புது கோலம் போட்டு, அதில்
அழகு அழகாக வர்ணம் தீட்டி,
வண்ண வண்ண பூக்கள் வைத்து, அதில்
வித விதமா தீபங்கள் ஏற்றி,
ஆறு வயது சின்னப்பெண் ஐ கோலத்தை,
ஆசையுடன் வாழ்த்த மனம் விழைகிறது,

Thank you everybody for your warm wishes! Thank you all for being members in this site, for sharing a part of your life with all of us.
What I wanted to do was to acknowledge your comments with a personal email, but, instead of doing that, I'm forced to write a quick "thank you" comment here, because I see that somebody had spammed our site this morning with loads of automated posts in the cafe area. I'm now "cleaning up the garbage". Smile
(A note to myself; I need to "frame" the lovely little poems, special words, in a special page, before they get burried deep down).

BELATED BIRTHDAY WISHES TO IKOLAM Smile

Lata there are no words for me to describe how happy I feel everyday when I visit this website.. It gives be peace of mind and complete satisfaction to sit in front of my computer and share my thoughts and comments on the contributions of other members, and sometimes I feel challenged with some of the kolams that I want to outbeat them, thereby increasing my capicity and talent filling me with the yearning of wanting to dish out more and more and more.. LAST BUT NOT LEAST I AM SO HAPPY BECAUSE I HAVE FOUND SO MANY LOVELY WARM FRIENDS (INCLUDING YOU) WHICH IS THE BEST GIFT IKOLAM HAS GIVEN ME... God bless this site, you and your family Smile

Wish you a very happy birthday ikolam... Lata ma'am first and foremost i would like to thank you for the wonderful idea of creating this site... s i agree as many members put it this is the site i first open when i switch the computer on sometimes even interrupt my husband's work just to know what kolams have come or what comments I have got on a kolam... This site and all the members comments has inspired me to do more, excel in whatever I do, and made me learn something which I always wanted to learn that is how to draw wet maa kolam... thanks to all the guidance I got from all the members and for all the ideas i got from you all...may this site always inspire other people and me to do well and share kolams with each other...
