The next ikolam meet will be on 8th Jan 2011, at Dakshin Chitra, a cultural museum/heritage village on ECR road, Chennai.It is open for ikolam members from all over the world. Please start booking your tickets for the mega meet.

Wish you a grand successful meeting. I have a question, though. Don't you think frequent meetings may not be that productive? In my opinion, this is purely personal, one annual grand meeting like the one you're planning and one chapter meeting (like the one you had in bengaluru and chennai) may be more beneficial. Purely on the basis of what I read here on the ikOlam site, it appears to me that the earlier meetings at chennai and bengaluru were more productive in comparison with the latest one. Since I was not there, it is presumptuous on my part to say this. But this is my deduction from the meeting minutes. If I am wrong, please please forgive me. I am only trying to offer constructive criticism in this regard.

Jkm sir, constructive criticisms are always welcome! In fact, I too was feeling the same like you and shared it with a few members too. I find that some members are enthusiastic about meeting frequently and display other art forms also in the meets. I feel that such meetings should not be discouraged but at the same time should not come under ikolam banner. But ikolam is the link available for the members to announce such meets. Let members think over and come with their points of view and solutions.

Members may wonder why I always announce the meets when Iam not for frequent meets. It is simple that Iam one of the few members to have 'blog' option!

If members feel it is too early to met once again,why don't we plan it in the first week of April.It will apt with the school holidays and convenient for members from outside Chennai to join the Mega Meet.
