Comment posting guidelines and Admin issues

Here is a quick reminder about commenting etiquette.

Please refrain from posting personal details like email addresses, phone numbers and other personally identifiable information anywhere in the site. We went through a nasty episode of a user getting into hot water because of the details left on the site by the user him/herself. On the users request, I had to go through all the postings/comments afterward to do the cleanup. I am still in the process of doing this. This is totally frustrating and unneeded work and takes what little time I get to spend on the site into cleanup work, that I don't enjoy one bit.

Please, let's follow some of the commonsense rules about posting personal information on the web. As they say, the web has a looong memory. It always comes back to bite! So, let us play it safe, OK.
