A new experiment

Normally to draw rangOlis, we use dots for reference. These dots are either arranged in a square or hexagonal pattern to give straight and staggered appearance. Today I drew a rangOli with dots that are nither square nor hexagonal. These dots are arranged in a trapezoidal fashion with less space at the top and more at the bottom. With a 3x5 arrangement of such dots, I drew a sOnA pattern with one line and with four such made a sOna square with two lines. In this arrangement, you will see that the whole pattern looks like four towers of a temple. It is thus possible to get novel effects with such an arrangement of dots. Bouquets or brickbats? Regards! - mOhana

I think if we work more on this line we can create more new designs/ patterns resembling free hand drawings.
I join the Admin in presenting the flower bunch welcoming this new idea!

Wow! what an idea and experiment. The result is marvellous. JKM sir I think all geometrical shapes and many of the free hand may be represented using dots by doing further reasearch with your idea.
Any how a fantastic work and handful of bouquet, heartful of wishes and a warm welcome to the new born idea from my end also.
