Here’s a flavour of some of the events taking place in London and surrounding areas.
Everyone is welcome to attend and most events have free entrance. As events may be subject to change, please check with venues for details.
Diwali on the Square 2008
Where: Trafalgar Square
Date: Sunday 19 October
When: 1500 - 1600: Come and learn the
garba, a traditional circular dance.
1630 - 1700: Opening ceremony with lighting
lamps & Diwali songs.
1700 - 1900: A celebration of dance in many
styles.
