Very cute chikku kolam in color podi Sindhu... try mixing them in white kolapodi for better flow of the podi...

Thank you very much Sowmya, Suguna, Uma (this is one my first few colour chikku kolams), Alamelu, Lakshmi, Pushpa (The yellow colour is plain turmeric and red is plain kumkum. I tried mixing turmeric with some kolapodi, but it gives a very dull yellow colour... so used only plain turmeric & kumkum), Rajamma ma'am, Mahalakshmi & Ms.Rani, for your very sweet comments... This was one of my first few Marghazhi kolams. -Sindhuja

Lovely kolam. The lines drawn with turmeric and kumkum are neat. You could have used poosum manjal powder.
