Lovely decoration of marapachis as Krishna and Rukmini! Generally it used to be Radha, why Rukmini here? Any specific reason? However I love the designer saree of Rukmini!
Good work here in transforming your marapaachi into Krishna and Rukmini. Jaya I too had the same doubt as you always say Radha Krishna and I am sure Chethan has an explanation for placing Rukmini next to Krishna. Pretty bright green saree Rukmini is wearing with all the required accessories. Thaali looks very nice. I also like Krishna's dress and his crown. All the best :)
Hi.
As we all know, Rukmini is the incarnation of goddess Lakshmi. During Navarathri we pray to the almighty shakthi to destroy all evil and bring about peace and prosperity. Thus we pray to goddess Shakthi/Lakshmi/Saraswathi. Thus have decorated the doll as Rukmini being an incarnation of Lakshmi and Lord Krishna being one amongst the ten avatars of Lord Mahavishnu. Thus have placed Mahavishnu( Krishna) and Rukmini ( Lakshmi).
Very lovely decoration of your dolls! The tranformation of these dolls to Rukmini & Krishna is a great idea! The dressup and the accessories are so beautiful! and great efforts and even the small details are taken care of! Great job!
