Is this an heirloom collection Pushpa! Looks so special with unique coloration on the leaves. Beautiful outlines and nice and juicy tomatoes. Invite me over when you cut one up for salad. :)

Puspha actually while looking at your kolam, it reminds me of the tomato plant we had at home some time ago. Actually I had thrown away the remains of some rasam one day and surprisingly the tomato seeds decided to sprout into a plant. I watched it grow and one day discovered it had many little yellow flowers which excited me to no limits as, I would soon have my very own tomatoes.. Slowly the flowers wilted and small green buds started emerging - in about a week's time these small buds became bigger and bigger in a mild green colour and the calyx was protruding out just like in your kolam - only thing here your tomato is red while the one on my plant was green. Finally the rat ate those tomatoes (that's a different story), but eventually your kolam is pretty - the only thing I feel out of place are those blue leaves (though the contrast colour looks good) maybe you should have chosen a different shade of green to match with the theme... Anyway lovely kolam :)

Tx everyone for commenting... since most of u hv commented on the blue color I would like to clarify this... believe it or not, it is actually a darker version of green which I hv used here...the same green I hv used in the border in the tomato plant ... in this photo it seems like that ... that is the reason I try using different slots to try and get the natural colors
