Very beautifully made kanya kolam, Priya. Cute border designs. and it is interesting to read the write up about the navarathri celebrations in TVM. My father's native is also TVM. Their house is in 1st Putham theru, which is very close to Padmanabha Swami koil.

Thanx every body. I put maa kolam eni only for the poojai dear mahalakshmi. When I put whatever kolam I will upload for you all. Maha even my ammai's native place is 1st puthen street. My patti is famous there her name is karakkudi mami as all call her. Thank you each and every body dear. Julien we put steps and put the small small statues in our home and daily evening we say shobham japam and at least give one sumangali vethalai paakku. I used to read lalitha sahasranamam. Today I gave vethalai pakku to my sister and my mother. Will put more and send for all your comments.
Alamelu maam this traditional looking kolam is so good. I liked the lotuses a lot. Expecting more of such kolams as I am crazy of such traditional kolams.
