Lovely work Judy. The umbrellas look cute and ready in hand for any season. And the inverted looks like a sprout in the triangular pot, (My favourite flower pot shape when I was a kid) I like those filament in the flowers which have got enhanced by the ear bud technique.

Very cute and pretty umbrella and flower kolam, Judy! And don't worry about making it neater. The even spread of kola podi makes me think of snow falling, with your umbrellas being used against the snow!! :) -Sindhuja

This is too pretty and looking fabulous...the ear bud technique gives the kolam a double stroke effect.

From kitchen top you have shifted to shoe rack? As Sindhuja says, the scattered kola podi gives a snow fall effect!

Thanks a lot Lata, Vinci (my favourite pot shape too as a kid), Pushpa (thanks for showing me the Ganesha, he sure looks cute), Laks, Rani, Sindhu (aiiiiiiiiii it is snowing in arumbakkam - haha) Nithya, Sowmi, Anirudh, Jayanthi, Rajam, Maha, Julien and Jaya (those are the two places at home with black granite which provides a lovely background for kutty kolams) for your sweet comments..
