Hai Friends!!!! This is an another part of our house golu. It is marriage set, which includes one of our rituals like Nandhi( Worshiping of forefathers)& Seer varisai. The small "choppu" (made out of brass) aging 70years old.

Hi Friends. This is the kolu picture kept in our house for Diwali this year. We call it Gharonda. Theme is Village Life. I used saw dust, thermocol sheets, velvet sheets for arranging this Kolu

I missed navarathri , so I am posting my Golu , theme was Adishankaracharya, I tried to create Tunga river and Sringeri . Adi Shankara established his first Mutt in Sringeri since a snake gave shelter to a pregnant frog from the scorching sun (two opposite forces of nature) and I tried to depict it. I couldnt find a snake so had to make it out of playdough.

In golu I couldnt create park and other things.My grand child Nithila was quite but i afraid of using sand and clay.So our this time special is Lakshmi and Saraswathi Comes in Kuthuvilakku,Parvathi Avagana in Kalasa.
