Chalk kolam in Singapore!!!

Yes Gowri, sometimes, I do end up taking somewhere between a week to two weeks time to upload kolams. I consider it to be a luxury to be both hard working, as well as hardly working! Life is more fun that way! :) I am going to be hardly working next weekend, will be going to check out our neighborhood Cherry blossom festival (a spring time festival showcasing the Japanese culture). Your rangoli is pretty. Is it a dotted one? It also reminds me of a crib-mobile! I don't think we have any mobile rangolis in our site :)

Yes this is dotted kolam, 15 - 1 , Its good to take enough breaks during work. Wow sakura festival, thats good , where are you located ? I dont understand the crib-mobile part.

I live in California. Mobile that hangs on a baby's crib (bassinet type).

20 days more to fly back to india :-), and kalyana sappadu !!! I am uploading more kolams, to make you work more hehehehe.... By the way I am searching for kambhi kolam or sillu kolam.. not able to find much in our forum - have u tagged it in any other name ?

Looks like I'd given you a link for a line kolam when you asked for a Kambi kolam! For some reason at the time, my mind processed "kambi" as a line!, it could be because in our household we are used to addressing the chiku kolams as "valaivu kolam"! :) Anyway, please check your email. Sorry for the wrong info yesterday :)
