I am a new member. My mother is a wonderful kolamist and she is really crazy about it. She never misses an ocassion, where she can light up our frontyard with all sorts of amasing kolam. She can draw them on all type of surfaces and even over water. There is a technique wherein chalk powder can be spread over water and wonderful designs can be drawn over the floating chalk powder. She has taken part in various rangoli competitions and won many prizes. However she is eager to find out one other technique of drawing kolams. Some where she saw a kolam painted inside water. From that day she is trying too hard to find out the technique and even tried her own, but nothing materialised.

Her Birthday is fast approaching and I want to surprise her with this technique and see her contented.

So I request all of you that if any of you know that technique of drawing kolam inside water, please share it with me. I will be grateful to you all for life.
