lata's picture

Pictures taken during our South India trip during the winter break. Some of these pictures were taken while traveling in an auto, during waiting for the traffic signal. Let us know if you know the dot count. :)

is really very pretty. Please teach me software kolams.

Cool one, i have this in my collections ...the dot count is 7 X 4.... the feathers are free hand....mine does not have the branch & leaves, so i assume that also to be free hand :) .....will scan & upload.

very beautiful rangoli..iam not sure about dots for this rangoli....

Mayil romba oyila poguthu.. so cute!!

Wow Lata do u drink, sleep, walk, talk, and drive in auto thinking of kolams only... he he that shows how dedicated you are... this is nicely drawn

Good rangOli. But colouring is a bit random with no pronounced symmetry.

Looks like this pitcher plant is trying to swallow the peacock - right Lata?? I too have this habit of trying to click interesting things enroute (kids make fun of me though)

lata i dont think there is any count of pulli for this song. it is drawn artistically i think. very beautiful one.

Wow!, you got the shot while travel, its very nice,i will get back since i have the same type of kolam in my collection

hai latha i think it is for sure a free hand one but if we put 5-3 cross dots also we can bring out as many as 6 peacocks on all sides hope i am correct experts wainting for the reply

Lata, I too enjoyed so many artistic kolams drawn infront of small huts on during travel down south.U had the time and mindset to click them and present to us here also. This one is a dotted kolam. let me figure itout.

Nice rangoli. I am wondering whether it's dotted rangoli or free hand.
