I watched an episode of Kolangal after a long time, just because I heard someone say that it is coming to an end. I couldn't believe at the way the storyline had progressed. :)
I subscribed to Sun TV a couple of years ago, just because the serial was named Kolangal. And, in the beginning, got hooked on to it as I was interested in watching the different kolams that was displayed in their opening frame. :)
I think this serial is almost 6 years old - Anita had the opportunity to work with the Kolangal Unit during her final year PG as part of her project and used to give out interesting information from the sets.. This serial was supposed to end in May last year itself but successfully did another year too... I also used to be hooked to it in the beginning as the story was interesting but soon it became another tear jerker and I got fed up and stopped watching... Me too was interested in it because of the kolams that was displayed in it and I took part in the kolapoti but unfortunately none of mine got selected. I am proud to say Rajamma's kolam once came (though I did not know her then so I dont remember which kolam was her's) - Rajamma please give us more details on this.... In fact I started subscribing to Aval Vikadan only because of this kolapoti...
