Hello all! As many of you have noticed, the site has undergone many changes, and we hope to fine tune some more in the upcoming days. In the meantime, please let us know your feedback, and comments.
We have setup a point system to recognize member contributions through reward points and badges. It encourages members to participate more in both sharing their works and in commenting for other's works as well. The accumulated points helps earn the different badges. Please mouse over the different badges to get a feel for the number of points earned.
"M" stands for site-moderation. (A few members have the letter "M" in their list of badges).
When a member posts a rangoli, he/she earns 5 points.
"White" is the first color badge for any one to earn, and it stands for 25 points.
A comment is worth 1 point.
Yellow is worth 50 points.
Green - 100
Blue - 250
Purple - 500
Red - 1000
Black - 2500
Bronze - 5000
Silver - 10,000
Gold - 25,000
Diamond - 50,000

Lata in gallery the first two big dots denote active and small denotes inactive. Is it so?

I too have the same doubt as Chandy? what do the points and badges mean?
